Cuckoo clocks - versatile and popular

The classic Black Forest clocks still score points with their richly decorated case. The carving presents popular depictions such as the cuckoo on the clock top, oak leaves, fir trees and mushrooms. The Black Forest house with its low-pitched roof is particularly popular as a motif for the case. Natural wood tones predominate; in other models, individual carvings are highlighted by colourful hand painting.
