Mayr 1660-KDMsAr Cable-Driven Regulator – Black Piano Lacquer with Brass Accents
The Mayr 1660-KDMsAr cable-driven regulator combines traditional mechanical clockmaking with a particularly elegant choice of materials. The solid wood case finished in deep black piano lacquer creates a refined contrast with the white enamel dial and warm, polished brass applications.
At the heart of the clock is the high-quality mechanical Mayr HMW111 manufacture movement. The rhodium-plated 8-day cable-driven movement features a Graham escapement, fine symmetry adjustment and 16 jewels.
8-Day Cable-Driven Movement with Half-Hour Strike
The traditional movement is driven by weights and cables. The mechanical striking mechanism sounds on a gong spring every half hour and on the full hour. The striking mechanism can be switched off when desired.
The carbon-fibre rod pendulum with solid pendulum bob combines modern materials with traditional regulator clockmaking and emphasises the sophisticated mechanical character of this exceptional wall clock.
Enamel Dial, Black Piano Lacquer and Brass
The white enamel dial with black Roman numerals provides a classic appearance and excellent readability. A particularly elegant feature is the use of brass applications, creating a warm and sophisticated contrast with the deep black piano lacquer case.
Bevelled glass and glazed side panels provide a generous view of the weights, pendulum and mechanical construction. The model is alternatively available with Arabic numerals and nickel-plated applications.
Integrated Compartment for the Winding Crank
A special feature of the Mayr 1660-KDMsAr is the integrated compartment for the winding crank. The crank required for winding the clock can be stored directly with the clock and is therefore always close at hand.
Final Assembly and Regulation after Order
This high-quality mechanical clock is individually completed after your order is placed. Following receipt of your order, the clock undergoes final assembly. The mechanical movement is then carefully regulated and the complete clock is thoroughly inspected before delivery.
These skilled finishing processes require a production and preparation time of approximately 4 weeks. This period is an integral part of the careful final assembly, regulation and quality control.
You therefore receive a mechanical manufacture clock by Helmut Mayr that has been individually completed, regulated and inspected after your order is placed.
