Mayr 1660-KDNiRö Cable-Driven Regulator – Mechanical Manufacture Clock in Black Piano Lacquer
The Mayr 1660-KDNiRö cable-driven regulator combines traditional mechanical clockmaking with a clean and elegant design. The solid wood case finished in deep black piano lacquer creates a sophisticated contrast with the white enamel dial, chrome-plated applications, visible weights and pendulum.
At the heart of the clock is the high-quality mechanical Mayr HMW111 manufacture movement. This rhodium-plated 8-day cable-driven movement features a Graham escapement, fine symmetry adjustment and 16 jewels.
8-Day Cable-Driven Movement with Half-Hour Strike
The traditional movement is driven by weights and cables. The mechanical striking mechanism sounds on a gong spring every half hour and on the full hour. The striking mechanism can be switched off when desired.
The carbon-fibre rod pendulum with solid pendulum bob combines modern materials with traditional regulator clockmaking and provides the characteristic calm pendulum movement of this high-quality mechanical wall clock.
White Enamel Dial and Black Piano Lacquer
A particularly distinctive feature is the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals. Together with the black piano lacquer case and chrome-plated applications, it creates an elegant and timeless black-and-white appearance.
Bevelled glass and glazed side panels provide a generous view of the weights, pendulum and fine mechanical construction. The model is also available with Arabic numerals and, alternatively, with brass applications.
Integrated Compartment for the Winding Crank
A special feature of the Mayr 1660-KDNiRö is the integrated compartment for the winding crank. The crank required for winding the clock can therefore be stored directly with the clock and is always close at hand.
Final Assembly and Regulation after Order
This high-quality mechanical clock is individually completed after your order is placed. Following receipt of the order, the clock undergoes final assembly. The mechanical movement is then carefully regulated and the complete clock is inspected before delivery.
These skilled finishing processes require a production and preparation time of approximately 4 weeks. This period is an integral part of the careful final assembly, regulation and quality control.
