Design meets functionality – The GRID wall clock by Callea Design
Modern interiors thrive on clear shapes, calm aesthetics, and functional design – the GRID wall clock from Callea Design in Trieste, Italy, fulfills precisely these requirements. With a sophisticated combination of minimalist design and innovative functionality, this model blends harmoniously into a wide variety of interior concepts – from urban lofts to modern offices to stylishly furnished living rooms.
The clock can also be technically adapted to your own needs. A high-quality Junghans quartz movement is installed as standard, ensuring precise timekeeping. Those seeking additional convenience can opt for a radio-controlled clock movement (DCF77). This automatically sets the exact time – including daylight saving time – and requires no manual adjustment.
The Dial – an Artistic Concept
The special design feature of this watch lies in its dial. Instead of traditional numbers or numerals, the GRID watch displays the hours using a clever system of geometrically arranged carved lines. These lines appear almost graphic, but at the same time give the watch a deep visual structure and a fascinating play of shadows and light – depending on the viewing angle and the incidence of light. This interprets the passage of time in a completely new way: modern, abstract, yet intuitively perceivable.
Quartz movement by Junghans
The 838 movement is manufactured by Uhrenfabrik Junghans GmbH & Co.KG. When the Mignon LR6 battery is inserted, the movement begins to move automatically. The time can be precisely set manually using the setting knob on the back or directly on the hands on the front.
