Chrome barometer in maritime design
Matching the Schatz Royal ship's clock series 180 is this barometer in chrome. According to old craftsmanship, stamped brass discs are formed by metalworkers on the lathe. The case is ground and polished or brushed. Afterwards, the barometer is painted 2x or the chrome plating is applied. The maritime barometer in porthole design is manufactured by Delite in Denmark.

Basic setting to the Schatz barometer
To adjust your barometer exactly, please compare the display with the specifications of an exactly adjusted barometer at your place of residence or ask the weather service for the air pressure of your location. The back of the movement becomes visible when you open the glass door. Use the adjusting screw to set the barometer pointer to the correct position. On some models, the movement is fixed to the case and the adjusting screw is visible on the back of the case. Before reading, tap the barometer lightly to make sure that the pointer is free. Then place the pointer, which can be adjusted on the glass, congruently over the black pointer. The next time you read the barometer, you will see if it is rising, if the weather is getting better, or if it is falling, if the weather is getting worse. If the barometer reading remains unchanged, you can expect the weather to remain the same. We hope you enjoy the maritime Schatz Barometer 483 B.
