Skeleton pocket watch, finely engraved
The mechanical movement in these pocket watches is reduced to the bare essentials. A pocket watch with a spring lid is called a savonette. When the crown button is pressed, the cover springs open and reveals the skeletonized movement. Through the sector of the circle you can see the time divider, the balance wheel oscillating back and forth. The dial with Roman numerals harmonises perfectly with the hands. The pocket watch is powered by a PTS 2650 movement. After the spring is fully wound via the crown, a power reserve of around 30 hours is achieved. With this mechanical pocket watch in the entry-level price range, a rate tolerance of plus or minus 30 seconds and more must be tolerated. The metal case is robust and, with a case diameter of 51mm, offers reliable protection for the movement. The lid has a heavily decorated surface with an engraving space for applying a monogram.
