The round dial has Roman numerals and a fine minute track. In the center is a silver circle that bears the brand name "Franz Hermle & Sohn". The clockwork, a high-precision movement from the Hermle turned parts production, is characterized by its mechanical functionality, which makes the gentle swinging of the pendulum visible. This pendulum, made of shiny silver metal, contributes to the calming effect of the watch and swings in a harmonious rhythm from left to right.
The watch must be wound once a month, which is made possible by the integrated power reserve system. With a weight of 2.5 kg, the watch guarantees a power reserve of a full month and thus ensures constant precision.
Finest details and unique functions
The movement is equipped with a Graham anchor escapement, which ensures precise timekeeping thanks to its solid anchor body and synthetic ruby pallets. A special highlight of the watch is the three-dimensional, hand-painted moon phase, which must be corrected by one day after ten years. The dial is adorned with fine, blued Breguet hands, whose design is reminiscent of classic watchmaking traditions.
The case, which is finished with a fine sanded varnish, contributes to the elegant overall effect.
